Ed Allen Memorial Aviation Scholarship
Awards are made to students enrolled full-time in an aviation-related diploma or associate degree program offered by the School of Aviation at Middle Georgia State University and a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and a minimum program GPA of 3.5. Captain Ed Allen was an accomplished pilot with the U.S. Air Force, test pilot and Director of Flight Operations for Dassault Falcon Jet Corporation. At the time of his death in 2001, Ed was the holder of 15 national and world speed records in various Falcon models and had flown over 14,000 hours as pilot in command. Dassault Falcon set up this scholarship in his memory so that many deserving students could pursue their education dreams in the skies. Captain Allen’s love for aviation lives on through these scholarships.
